Safety
Safety is Our Top Priority
Rigorous safety protocols are critical to ensuring a project runs smoothly and that everyone goes home safely at the end of the day. It doesn't matter what size your project is, there is active involvement from start to finish.
Independent Safety Review
We take the extra step to ensure safety on every project with our own independent safety advisor. That safety advisor frequently inspects the site, as well as hosts “lunch and learn” safety training sessions for our staff. We have also established a detailed company safety manual and all of our project managers and superintendents have OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 training.
Experience Modification Rate
The Experience Modification Rate (EMR) has a strong impact on our business. It is a number used by insurance companies to gauge both past cost of injuries and future chances of risk. An EMR of 1.0 is considered the industry average. Our current experience modification rate (EMR) is 0.91.
The Right Equipment
OSHA requires employers to ensure the safety of all employees in the work environment. Eye and face protection must be provided whenever necessary to protect against chemical, environmental, radiological or mechanical irritants and hazards. Besides face shields, safety glasses, hard hats, and safety shoes, personal protective equipment (PPE) includes a variety of devices and garments such as goggles, coveralls, gloves, vests, earplugs, and respirators. Whether or not you’re working or just visiting the site, we’ll always have PPE on hand to make sure you’re protected.
