About
The Niagara Community Center is a 25,200 square foot multi-purpose athletic facility. Its mission is to improve the lives of the youth in Niagara Falls and the surrounding communities by providing a safe, enriching space for after school sports. The facility needed to accommodate cheerleading, volleyball, soccer and tennis – which requires a higher building structure for serving.
Opened in 2016, construction required collaborative design-build work between Tedesco Construction Services, the architect, general contractor and representatives of the sports facility. The structure incorporates a rigid frame clear span with no interior columns for improved spectator viewing. GymGuard Insulation was also used to add durability to a high use facility.
The facility currently offers six unique programs to the community.
