About

In 2016, Tedesco Construction Services used a Varco Pruden pre-engineered metal building to help renovate and expand the Niagara University Clet Dining Hall. The 20,000 sq. ft. dining area features an open kitchen. It has new food prep and serving areas. The tables can be arranged for theater-style presentations for 250 people.

Niagara University began renovations of its Clet Hall dining commons due to high demand for an updated event and banquet facility. Tedesco Construction Services was chosen to work with BHNT Architects, now owned by Labella. Tedesco designed, engineered and installed a pre-engineered metal buildings instead of conventional steel. The design was unique. It had an Epic Deck System. A crane had to lift each panel into place, and then workers tack-welded it at each seam. The building also used cultured stone, an asphalt shingle roof, and extensive glass on the exterior. This made it match the existing university buildings. Tedesco Construction Services built a close relationship with the University and its project partners.
